This isn’t JUST a gay rights anthem. Gaga is just too good. She involves race, disability, and the trans community. She is truly a legend.

¡FELIZ ANIVERSARIO BORN THIS WAY! ❤️❤️
dumb youth:
This makes me feel accepted, my parents don’t accept me but Gaga does 😊
Ari Ojanperä:
As a LBGTQ+ person who is in the very marginalized + section and struggling a lot with depression because of that, I LOVE Lady Gaga. Gaga is my number one idol, helped me get through my biggest mental health battles and still keeps me going! I finally had the courage to apply for an official name change - I hope it goes through swiftly. Never liked my parents-given male first name. In Finland, unfortunately it's a male name.
RpgRacer:
One of my good friends played this song all the time in the car, she got her last surgery last week and now she's an beautiful woman. I couldn't be more happy for her and I hope she'll enjoy her new body and lifestyle
Demon Lurch:
I remember being a teenage trans man in the closet and listening to this feeling like somebody finally saw me for me. Crazy it's been over 10 years ago and things have changed so much. Gaga was so ahead of everyone.
Diego Lima:
Tem amo tanto Lady Gaga
Esteban Gualteros:
*Only Lady Gaga can have aliens, unicorns, skeletons and Lgbt rights in the same video and still make sense*
Abhinav :
Happy 11th year anniversary BORN THIS WAY🖤 this album literally saved LIVESSS!!! NOO, NOOOO ONE CAN MATCH GAGA'S LEGACY!!!

Young Orange:
Gaga inspired me to make music. She was once an artist without many listening. And now she’s on top. I believe it will happen for me one day, Im not stopping when it does! 💥
keir:
This song has pulled so many young people out of the dark. I'm not just talking about LGBTQIA+, I'm also talking about people who are bullied because of their insecurities, skin color, or disabilities. Gaga is truly a queen for recognizing these kids, teens, and young adults. All in one song. She's saved so many lives with this song. 💓💗

No matter which race, sexuality, ethnicity, etc; you are, this song is the ultimate human empowerment anthem. The amount of adrenaline this song pumps through my veins is crazy, even if I don't am part of the LGBTQ+ community. Lady Gaga knows how to make a song that you will never forget.

nya uwu:
i remember when i was younger i had a lot of struggle within myself because i had finally realized that i do like girls. i identified as a girl then and as someone who was a devout catholic at the time, it pained me because of how homophobic the church was and society in general.
but this song came out and it gave me the courage to finally accept myself as i am. the fact that i liked girls and gave me a word to identify myself, that being transgender that i found out through this song (though i didn't identify with it for a couple more years but at the very least gave me a name to help me figure myself out cuz while i was dealing with my sexuality i was also dealing with my gender too).
i am now a transgender man who is technically heterosexual i guess since i like girls. i will forever be thankful to lady gaga with inspiring me to be myself and helping me accepting myself for who i am.
Carolina Lavastream:
I`m lesbian my self and I just got hit so much by the "no matter gay, straight or bi, lesbian, transgender life...."😭 I still love Lady Gaga so much for doing this and for supporting everyone, shes just one of the thougest womans I EVER saw🥳 And till this moment, i`m thankfull for being me and thankfull to all the people who support the LGBTQIA+ people, bc we are all BORN THIS WAY❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
plastic doll:
Maves Place:
What I love about Lady GaGa is that she teaches us to be ourselves .. and another fun fact - we do have the same dna with only appearance as a genetic difference 😉💜
grim:
When I first heard this song on the radio I loved it, but my parents told me that Lady Gaga is evil and listening to her would make me go to hell. I was really scared. I hadn't listened to her again until a few years ago when I started questioning my sexuality. Now I'm out and my family cut off contact with me because of my sexuality, but you know what I don't need their constant judgement anyways.
Cléuzio Silva:
This is my fav song. Here, for me, she represents the best of everything: lyrics, potencial vocal, song, performance, acting, vision, meanings, attitude, direction did an amazing job as well. She gave 100% and more. She must be exhausted recording the video but you can't see any flaw.
SILVIA JOVITA ALEJANDRA Barrera:
Ella es de otra GALAXIAAA!!!! Su música es del futuro...me transporta.
joeyy minaj:
this was my fav song when i was 4, im now 14 and still obsessed , i had a lady gaga poster in mt room, a huge one, a lady gaga shirt, and lady gaga cake for my bday
Fuhgetabatit:
I didn’t pay attention to the lyrics as much before, now that I’m older it warms my heart how she mentions bullying and disabilities. This song really has helped so many of us.

I’m not in the LGBT+ community nor am I minority. Just a woman with a lot of insecurities and this song taught me to love myself, because god make no mistakes and he made me perfect, for I am human.

I love Lady Gaga
KennyCelican:
I love this song. Have since it came out.
But... after ten years of thinking about it, something percolated to the surface about the Manifesto itself, specifically the 'how can I protect something so perfect without Evil?' line.
That line is deeply rooted in a view that 'violence' and 'evil' are synonymous, which itself is a pretty modern take, and one that almost always helps oppressors rather than victims.
It's not *EVIL* to punch Nazis. Violence is a tool, one we all need to reclaim from the oppressors of any stripe.
alex martin:
Perfect is a word that’s overly used….however… this woman is.
Romain B.:
Imagine doing a song like that 2 years after the start of your career she took so many risk but look at her now she's a fucking legend even if people tried to end her in 2012 they ALL failed
Ejeproduccion Ejeproduccion:
George Danson:
The most important message of the 21st century. Sending love from Australia. So amazing... that's what you are Lady Gaga. X
Lisa Riddle:
This song is telling me and everyone else to stop gender color and sexual preference discrimination
of everyone else. Stop wasting the time god has given you on hating others. And start being happy with yourself and your life. Because for me personally I don't lose sleep worrying about someone else's life because it's not my life. Inside we all look the same. So what's on the outside doesn't matter.
Joe Anava:
I love this song ❤
Etigress:
I like how she stands up for EVERYBODY. Those who are different, insecure, lost or afraid. I respect her for that.
Edward Lear:
I've been a little monster since 2009 and Gaga is one of the most important parts of my life. She taught me two things with her music, first, find yourself and be yourself, and second, battle for your life. I want to say thank you to Gaga, you shaped my mind
Fernanda Gabriela:
perfect and timeless
Scott Bavlnka:
Say what you will, but this song has helped many going through struggles. Keep your heads up - you got this!

ricardo may:
Born This Way se mantém forte, autêntico, futurista, mesmo tendo tanto tempo desde o lançamento.

This song is so meaningful to me I love it so so so much ♥️♥️♥️♥️
jaiden p:
It’s amazing to see how this song paved the way in empowering the LGTBQ+ community and the fact that it still receives comments daily after a whole decade just shows how significant it is. Gender roles are engraved in our minds from the time we are born coming with a lot of assumptious expectations. But Gaga shows us how changeable self-identity is. Our society has become more accepting and respectful of self-identity. We have come a long way from a time when ignorance came from the blindness of religious customs, social “norms” and more.
Mamma Mia:
I’m so glad that I was 7 back then and discovered this MASTERPIECE

T.K:
The fact that, even if some artists were ally of the LGBTQ+ cause, Lady Gaga was the first to really fought for our visibility, dedicated an entire album for the weird, bullied, in the closet kids we were back in 2010.
That women changed the game for the millennials, and continues now by being a modele for newer artists.
We can’t ignore that, she was and still is the true queen of this century.
