If Tsitsipas wants to become the best in the world, he has to schedule his season like a great player. He plays way too many events for someone in the top 5. Djokovic, Nadal and even Zverev and Medvedev focus almost exclusively on the major events. Tsitsipas has played 2 ATP 500's and a 250 in the last 3 weeks. The very best don't play 3 weeks in a row and none of them were a major tournament. He may well perform poorly at IW and Miami or see his form tail off later like last season.

Odds are in his favour to break his personal record, what a way to start off the season at 35 years old. Paire is just too erratic. He can play great tennis in short streaks but usually not for a whole match, or even a whole set. Medvedev uses too much motion, especially on his forehand, but somehow he's still consistent and can run balls down.
