Wrestler and Jackass star Stevie Lee has died at the age of 54.
Stevie, who appeared in 2010′s Jackass 3D, died at home “unexpectedly” on Wednesday, his family said in a statement.
A statement on a GoFundMe page set up to help with funeral costs read: “He was beloved by many and has many friends that were family, fans that adored him, but only his brother Jim left to take care of final arrangements.
“Puppet [his wrestling name] has put smiles across the world with his hardcore attitude and lifestyle.”
Stevie – who went by the stage name of Puppet The Psycho Dwarf when wrestling – was also honoured in a statement from Impact Wrestling, the organisation formerly known as TNA.
They wrote on Twitter: “It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Stevie Lee, better known as ‘Puppet The Psycho Dwarf’ in the early days of TNA.
“We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family.”
As well as his wrestling and appearances on Jackass, Stevie was also an actor, whose credits included horror anthology series American Horror Story, and the Disney film Oz: The Great and Powerful.
Stevie also starred in his own reality TV series, Half Pint Brawlers, which followed him running his own wrestling company.
